Hi Everyone! It’s Luci from My Crazy Craft Life revisiting the May 2018 Flavor of the Month Card Kit! You can still grab one if you missed it The Banana Split Level and The Double Dip Level! Be sure to check out the video HERE for all the details!
The first card was pretty simple. I stamped the image with Hero Arts Intense Black ink, cut it out with a stitched circle die, used some distress oxides for the sky and field, and colored it with Copic markers. Then I took a card base from my stash (I had very little paper left from the kit) and found a piece of pattern paper from an old FOTM card kit for the panel and that’s it!
The second card I used another stamp from the kit, I already had a bunch of the chicks stamped out and I wanted to use the sentiment “you are one of my favorite chicks” so how perfect was that! I cut out a 2 1/2 inch panel from pattern paper for the sky and some stitched hillside borders from another pattern paper for the ground. I colored all the chicks yellow except one that is purple with Copic markers. Once I placed the sky panel and back hillside panel, I popped up the front hillside panel with some foam tape. Then I added all the chicks around the card, stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and made it into a banner, to finish off the card a added a few sequins from the kit.
